Sisan Lee (b. 1995) explores the sculptural possibilities that emerge at the intersection of different times and environments. Drawing on experiences shaped between urban and rural landscapes, as well as the structural thinking developed through spatial design, his work investigates how modernity and primitivism, nature and industry, continuity and change can coexist within a single form. This exploration extends across furniture, objects, and spatial works.

This project begins with the site-specific conditions of a natural green zone reserved for future urban development. It responds to the tension between the untouched landscape that remains within the city and the surrounding built environment, reorganizing the landscape through two sculptural structures. The elongated bench establishes a vantage point from which to experience the site, while the chain structure creates layered relationships between nature and industrial materials, movement and sound. Rather than existing as autonomous objects, the structures operate as integral elements of the site, forming a unified spatial relationship with the surrounding landscape.
