Sisan Lee (b.1995) explores the boundary between nature and the artificial world. Moving between urban and natural environments, he draws from the structural order of industry and the sensory experiences of nature. By collecting materials such as stone, wood, and metal from both natural and industrial contexts, he examines the relational tension between their contrasting qualities through sculptural experimentation, negotiating the distance between them. These inquiries manifest in forms spanning spatial installations, furniture, and sculpture, constructing scenes in which industrial order coexists with the imperfections of nature.
